I have an 02 w/33,000 miles on it. I bought it in april, My brother had a cold air intake on his truck (same year/etc.) that he had taken off before selling it a year previous. I installed it on mine, noticed a slight increase in power just driving around and could hear the turbo whine lots more. The problem is when i tow the air filter gauge (a vaacuum gauge) goes red every time i tow. I am only getting 10-13 mpg when i tow (26 ft bumber pull travel trailer) I think i could change the filter but dont know what to buy, or should i just put the stock system back on. I am sure that with a vaacuum i am losing power and performance. Any ideas on a new filter (cone) or should i just go back to stock. My brother didnt remember what kind of intake it was, but we cleaned the filter before installing on the pickup. The gauge stays green with city and freeway driving when i am not towing. Please Help!
