Thinking about puting a TxC CAI on my LLY. What's the good? What's the bad?
Why do others put Banks, S&B, AFE, Volant, etc. on their trucks when the TxC CAI is supposed to be better and about 5 times cheaper??

Come on guys, lets hear what you have to say about this brand of cold air intake! Any info would be greatly appreciated!
I just did mine, I am almost through my first tank of fuel and I am impressed. The day I installed my Txc Cai I also did the egr block and defeat so the combo may have added the increase in mpg. I also switched back to the factory filter as I was using the K&N drop in. I did notice a little quicker throttle response also. If all holds true when I fill up and do my hand calc. as it stand now I am getting just about 2mpg+ increase(speedo and odo. are gps verified true). My cat delete pipe should be here tommorrow and I hope that helps even more! For 60 bucks I think it is a bargain.

Because some guys want the "bling". TxC's CAI doesn't have any bling to it, it just works. If you want something you can pop the hood, show your buddies and they say "WOW!" This isn't it. If you want something that works well and doesn't hurt the pocket book. You found it.
