I just washed my truck really well now that winter is easing up, and I've got a few of the inevitable rock chips on the hood, despite having a bug deflector, mud flaps, 3M clear film many places, and "radar" for rock throwing vehicles.
What's the best way to go about fixing these? I've tried the do-it-yourself touch-up paint before, and I've never had much luck on other vehicles, so I'm thinking about a better solution.
They're tiny--but I notice them when it's really clean and the big the **** out of me! Suggestions?

The GM laquer touch up applied with toothpick or paper end of a match. Then Langka. Bring em up with 2 or 3 rounds and level 'em off with the Langka in between, after some dry time 4-24 hrs. You will be hard pressed to find them if you do it right. I have worked with Langka and it is everything it says it is. ;) For use with the factory style laquer touch-ups only. Ask Corvette owners, we know stone chips! Hit the internet for Langka info. I've fixed some nasty scratches down to primer with this method and am impressed.

May give it a try - where do you purchase it. Is it widely available?

I use a color magic wax that is the same color of my truck... I've used it on both my black truck and my white truck. It works very well for hiding those little scratches and rock chips. After a few applications, it really brings out the color of the vehicle too! Especially on darker colored vehicles. Some people don't like using color matched waxes, but I've always had success with them. My 02. cents
