If you plan on going faster I would say save the 1500$ and put it twards a trans upgrade. What year?

Me persoanly I would vote for $1.25 at the power wash and the rest on hookers. Gota take it to the car wash afterwards.

Actually I would spend my $$$ on N2O system and save the rest for fills

I would go with an exhaust and chip/programmer. They are the biggest bang for the buck and will completely change the way your truck runs. If you dont hammer on it, the Alli can and will live a long and fruitful life.:D If you plan on going any higher power wise, get your tranny done ASAP.

If 1500 is all you have for now......... get things that will improve the trucks life and yours. Maybe some step bars, mud/rock deflectors, oil by-pass system, lift pump, rear cover, guages and a nice big order from Eric to keep you in filters for a year. ......If, that is "if" you have enough coin left...get a Diablo from JK or one of the vendors here. ....................... Remember, easy on the HP until you get an upgrade on the trans. ;)

I'm going to be in the market for a dmax real soon.

I'd just like to see what folks would do if they had $1500.

Not necessarily that I have ONLY $1500. :)

If it is an LB7, then get the:

1) Edge with Attitude
2) Bilstein shocks
3) Ex system

Then start saving for a trans/converter as once the performance addiction takes hold it is hard to resist.

"Not necessarily that I have ONLY $1500. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif"

Now we're talking! ):h You my friend are on your way to becoming a "Diesel Addict". Standby for the "Diesel Pushers" to contact you! You'll need about $3k to start with, oh yeah say goodbye to your wife, kids, friends, the dog, cauz you will be getting fixes on the DP on a regular basis.

I was going to keep my truck stock, just wanted better shocks, good advice on oil, tranny stuff, etc. Well, I did those things, then.................... Yesterday I ordered the MBRP 4" Cool Dual exhaust system with 5" tips and LB7 straightpipe. Add that to the E/J w/attitude and you see where I'm going.

I have absolutely no plans to upgrade the tranny though, mark my words! Aaagh, who am I kidding! There's always Christmas! Later. JJ :)
