Is there some way to make a adjustable waist gate on the older 6.5 with a mechanical controler? A freind wanst to get a lottle more boost on his 92.

I did a search and can only find making one out of a vaccume controlled waist gate.

yep,im making one now,on my 93,only got 5 psi boost today so im getting a bigger spring tomarrow,i cut the can in half,threaded the end,put a bigger spring on,then a washer,then lock nut,let you know more after i get a bigger spring

It's waste gate, and is should be exactly the same process for the older ones as for the newer ones, guys. The difference is that the older ones are horizontal, while the newer ones are vertical.

carefull with a lot more boost, too much boost equals too much IAT. My garage has a couple of pictures of my homemade TM that might give you some ideas
