hey yall, luckily since fuel prices have gotten outrageous, I was able to get a 07 LMM for what the insurance company gave me for my LLY thanks to used truck prices going to hell. Just got the truck yesterday and it came with a DPF back MBRP pipe on it. Im going to be selling my Predator and some other stuff soon and prob getting a Quadzilla.

I will prob eventually end up yanking the dpf in a year or so anyway, but my question is, does this filter back pipe help at all with egts with a small tune and towing heavy? (13k-16k equpiment) Until I get a guage and man up and tear everything off, Id like to run a light tune with the DPF on just cause I miss the off idle touque of the Predator on my old truck already. Thanks.

Not much if at all. EGT drop and power gains are almost non-existant with DPF back kits.

thanks, thats what I figured, I wouldnt have bought it but at least it looks better than stock. Ill prob stay with it till Christmas or untill I clog up DPF towing 16k pounds through mtns like with the last truck, thiis truck is sooooo much nicer though!
