I have 28" tires on my truck and i told my hypertech that i have 25" to slow down my mileage, I drive 350kms a day and was gonna try cheat a bit on my trips. I knocked off close to 30 kms on a 100km trip. Anyways when i go below the 26" tire size my ABS light comes on so i turned the key off and entered 26.50" and the light stays off now and speedo is about 17-25 kms off, i know that 1800 0r 1900 RPM'S is the speed limit....is this ABS code that was thrown stored in my truck ? Or does only engine codes stay stored...after i reset the key it went away so was wondering....Just wondering if i have to get this cleared off ?

Ohh and Dodge pulled up behind me and got real close to my back bumper...was taunting me...seen him snicker and pull out to pass...well I put the hammer down and watched him disapppear in my rear view. He stayed close for a mile but quickly was gone...my tach was redlined at 3200, those that say hypertech doesn't take the revlimiter out just have to change there tire size and you have instant speed http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

Changing the tire size in the HPPIII doesn't just effect your speedo does it?. I would think it adjusts the brakes, fuel mixture and performance and many other readings for the complete computer system. I maybe wrong but it doesn't seem like its a good idea to run it that far off. Probably won't hurt but you are already getting some warning signs aren't you?
