Well, i'm wanting to pull this weekend for the first time. With the mods in my sig, what class am i gonna have to be in and will not having a tranny upgrade kill my truck? I know it's such a newbe question, but i just don't want to get my whole fanclub together to watch me make an ass out of myself:) I just hate going to the local pulls and seeing cummins after cummins win!

Well with just the edge juice id say your fine with the stock trans. Atleast I was last year, Just follow the pullin guidelines, get it set up right and hammer down buddy. You should do fine. What kinda classes are they having?

Thing is if thats what has happend, thats probably how it's gonna happen. You probably won't be 1st, but who knows. Set your edge on the highest level and turn off all defuelling. Lower t-bars all the way and count the number of turns. Bring a floor jack with you. Clamp your rear springs with square u-bolts or get some from Tony B. a vendor for All Seasons. You can lower your tire pressure to 30 in front and 50 in rear. Put it in 4lo and in 3rd gear Tow/Haul in the staging area. Allow time to get in 4lo since it can be tricky sometimes. Hook up. Turn A/C off. Roll into it and PUT IT TO THE FLOOR!!! Then once you stop moving, bump it into neutral, then let off the throttle. this will prevent motor from stalling. Have fun and good luck.
