Bought my truck in July of '06 brand new from the dealer. They had an aftermarket sunroof installed before putting it on the lot. I bought the truck, and in the 2 years since I took ownership, I've had the truck in a total of 5 times for the roof leaking. They keep sending it back to the shop that installed it (50 miles 1 way, 500 miles total..)and they can't seem to fix the leak. Well as of today, this is # 6. Just had a big rainstorm and my headliner is soaked. Is it time to call GM? What should be my next move besides possibly driving through the plate glass window and directly into there showroom. This could get ugly.... Thanks in advance!!

Sorry to say, but GM won't care since it's not factory. You're only recourse may be civil.

I would make them pay for it no matter what...... You bought the truck as is...You bought it new so there for they had the shit put on before you bought it.... A dealer here in TN sells NEW TRUCKS with suspension lifts and they stand behind the whole truck.....

I dont know the complete story, but a buddy of mine bought an 07 LMM that had a sunroof in it- he had it in for leaking 6 different times, and now GM is buying the truck back from him- with him only paying a mileage tax! I would contact GM since you cant geet anywhere with the dealer! GOOD LUCK

If it is not a factory sunroof from gm, then gm will careless, no point in calling gm on this issue, since its not gm's responsibility. If the dealer sent it out to a aftermarket store to have the roof cut, then its the sunroof installers warranty. most only offer a 1 year warranty round here.......
