Does any body know what the chevy 6.0 w/hd 4 speed weights compared to the duramax/allison?? A little worried about the duramax sinking too much off road.

No one knows the answer...:eek: I have looked on the net with no success.:help2:

I think that the Dmax weighs about 850 lbs and the Allison weighs about 600 lbs.

Compare that to 6.0 which is about 400 lbs and a 4 gear weighs about 200 lbs.

My weights are mostly guesses but I'll bet they're close.

So you have 1400 lbs verses 600 lbs. There is an additional 800 lbs up front.
