Left for a trip last week, before I left it was occationally setting code P0101, Mass air flow sensor. I cleaned and reoiled my K&N air filter. I carefully cleaned the mass sensor with gentle air and nothing else. On the way out on our trip, truck pulled well however in the way back while doing some hard pulling I set P0101 again, cleared that code and then about 30 minutes later I set P0236. I have done searches on both of these codes, and I see that some recommend using electrical contact cleaner to clean the mass sensor, so I will try that. As for P0236 it always seems to be a lack of boost due to vac problems. I did notice that sometimes my boost didn't seem to build past 5 or 6 psi and of course power is down. I still see 10 during WOT, but it seems short lived. I will look for vac issues however I just had the damn pump replaced last fall and the wastegate actuator is held tight at idle the way it should. Perhaps its time for a TM, does it work well with an S engine? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

I am also getting the 236 on my truck, boost problems. I am also seeing the wastegate solid at idle and I have no exhaust leaks. Unfortunatly I still require a boost gauge so i'm not sure whats happening at operating speeds. I'm thinking intermittant problem with the wastegate solenoid.
