Bad Idea you need some way to limit the boost. It's OK to increase it but not too far. I'm also looking for options in this manner and have another thread going about a TST Boost Elbow - far less bucks than the adjustable wastegate from Bank$

Ya, Don't friggin do it!

Even if you have a spare turbo laying around...it is a RPITA to change!

don't ever block off your wastegate.........it will definitely 100% grenade your turbo.........ask "Big Dipper" about getting one of his extra boost valves.........these things are incredible and safe........they don't make any more boost than you have..........they just make what you have now extremely fast.

You better be carefull with dippers valve if its what I think it is. Better set it with a boost gauge in your truck. When I first put my WGFBW(wastegate fooling boost widget) on my truck I was running down the road about 70 and started to roll into it and saw my needel swinging past 32psi and it hit 34 with me squealing oh SH&^T!!!

I backed off its factory setting and I dont swing anymore boost than peak. I am contemplating yanking it off or doing some tweaking on it......

That boost valve works just fine when set properly.

30-32.....been working fine for quite a few of us.....definetly makes a difference.

I guess we could say the same for the Bighead, but that has to be adjusted "properly" as well....most performance oriented stuff does....I like the valve better myself.

Just meant that its not fool proof and safe and you need gauges any time you start screwing with your WG. I figured it was factory set at 10 psi.....I'd be good to go. Well if it wasnt for my gauges i would be having a juice moment by now.

I have it set now were I swing no more boost than before.

I am using the lindsey racing deal made for a porche, duno if this is one and the same or not.

When I first started playing with mine...... my wastegate that is, I did the Juicegrip thing!!!!!! I'll tell you, theres nothing like seeing that 0-35psi gauge go around 35psi going back to 0!!!!!! Done that a few times....... Since then, I have installed the Banks BigHead and limited in to 32-34. Truck seems to pull alot harder when is that range than before when it would go past it, hoovering at 35+.
