I must be a square peg for a round hole!!!! The only thing i've figured out with this is how to adjust for tire size and disable speed limiter.....other than that...not a damn thing...I'm even sitting in truck with wireless connection flipping back to DIESELPLACE.COM and i'm still lost...can't even load a tune....This efi might not be for me...might stick with edge and call it a day...I'd ask for help but you can't help me....lol I need a hands on lesson... and where i live, if you say you got EFI LIVE people ask what channel it's on?? I gotta get in touch with guy @ socal thought i could mange it..WRONG!!!

Dude do not give up. I really cannot help you but I am sure within minutes plenty of guys can get you up and running.

dont give up it took me forever to learn how to run it. If it wasn't for guy at so-cal I would have went crazy. the best thing i can tell you to do to learn what to do is download a tune from this web site and compare it to your stock and see what is changed. good luck and you will fugure it out.

Read the tutorials in EFI and talk to a few people. It is going to take some time to get the hang of things, but there is a lot of support if you need some help. EFILive.com has some good reading on it also. There is a forum there too.

i found the tutorials on Nick's (duramaxtuner.com) site to be very helpful.

Dont feel bad, it took me two months to figure out Defuel. It wastaring me in the face the whole time!

The learning curve on EFI Live is six months to one year, and I am behind the curve if that is true. But I learn something new everytime I talk with guys from this site and vendors on this site.

Keep at it, I will even load mine up in the truck and talk to you on the phone to help you out!

Update...well i slept on it and talked to guy...he's going to write me a tune and give me a few instructions on efi tomorrow...thanks to everyone who offered to help....I'll let you know if guy wants to shoot me tomorrow for being soooo difficult....LOL

Hey buddy don't worry bout it I'm just now figuring out how to get my truck to run right and i'm still not sure whats what on there lol. I want to share a little advice with you go to dogpile.com and type in EFI university and I think the site is efi101.com later some time this year they are goin to offer a class on EFI Live and how to tune the Duramax Diesel using EFI Live the only draw back is its a online class which sucks cause i like real classes hope this helps buddy and stick with it you'll catch on eventually like I have lol

Just got off the phone with Guy @ SO-CAL Diesel...he hooked me up with a couple tunes to try them out...gave me a few lessons on EFI itself...gonna work on the things he showed me...and i'm gonna give him a few weeks, before i call him back, for my second lesson!! It's raining or else i'd be out playing!!!
