: Video of my first full pull!!!
6speedduramax 08-03-2008, 08:12 AM This is a video of my first pull at Oakland Pulls last Friday night. It was only my second time ever pulling with the truck and it did pretty well. They couldn't give me a measurement on it because after 300' this sled can't measure anything more, so they told me. But the flagman told me probably 400' or better!!!http://www.duramaxforum.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Im at the 300' mark 23 seconds into the video.

mech2161 08-03-2008, 12:58 PM Your truck is running good! Caleb is doing his job on the tunes. I couldn't believe they didn't start that class over after I hooked 3rd and went around the turn. Over half the class was in the pull off.
What clutch are you running? I'm on my fourth SB. After the first hook I didn't think I'd make it through the night. It's pretty much toast after 18 hooks.

THanx Kevin! I beleive it the same clutch im running the ceramic sprung hub DD!
mech2161 08-04-2008, 06:18 PM Had to pull mine out. 18 hooks and it has cracks going around the pressure plate and the first disc side against it is chewed up. I'm getting tired of what works for a Dodge will work for everything else. Four years and four clutches.
Sorry for the rant. What brand is your clutch?
05_LLY 08-04-2008, 06:42 PM South Bend, I have the newer version that has more buttons than the first dmax version. When i pulled the first clutch out with the lesser buttons it was all cracked up and heat scored! This one is holding up better and i have no plans to remove it as of now!
01Duramax6spd 08-04-2008, 07:09 PM That was a really good pull .
I've got a Ceramic DD but it's the origonal solid hub and it's not given me any grief. Has over 90K hard miles, towing my big trailer 50% of those, and at least 20 hooks to the sled.
SEA04DMAX 08-04-2008, 07:32 PM Nice pull dude, the stacks look sweet.
Zebler 08-04-2008, 08:03 PM Trying to take the sled home, good pull

It doesn't do too bad. The only thing I have to compare it to though is the stock turbo, which of course was MUCH faster spooling up. But it doesn't do bad at all.
THanx Kevin! I beleive it the same clutch im running the ceramic sprung hub DD!
Yes Caleb is right my clutch is the southbend ceramic sprung hub twin disk.
THANKS EVERYONE! :)
