Since my original thermocouple has gone south on my SPA DG211 gauge and SPA cannot provide me with another 1/4" NPT probe to go into my manifold, I want to use my Edge probe but put the SPA pyro box connector on it. The SPA connector has 2 leads going into it. On the plug one is marked +. Which one of the Edge probe leads (yellow or red) is considered the + lead?

Or is there any where that I can get another 1/4" NPT thermocouple that will work with my SPA gauge?

Thanks!

Greg

In response to the question of T/C polarity. The Red is always negative(-).

as odonn247 posted, red is always negative.
If SPA can't supply a 1/4 NPT element, how about a 1/8 NPT element with a 1/8 to 1/4 NPT pipe bushing?
