does anyone know where I could get a light bullb socket for a 2003 silverado it is the rear drivers sidemarker light socket in the taillight wiring harness? Gm wants to sell me whole harness but thats to much money. IO figure if I can find a soclet with the pigtail I can just splice it in.

Thanks
Charles

Junk yard comes to mind as the easiest, cheapest, and most readily accessible source as I don't know of a manufacturer selling sockets with pigtails only.

They all seem to carry a line of products to replace/repair stuff like this. I have seen it, comes in a red package, just can't remember the brand name.

Are you trying to get the 4th light when installing the 03's in a older truck?

You can go to AutoZone and pick up a couple license plate lights that hold the 194 bulbs ans just add those pig tails to your existing harness with inline quick connectors. Hook them up to the "lights on" wires and your good to go. Takes less than $10 and 10 min to do.

thanks for the replies.
my truck had the 4th light socket for the sidemarker light in the wiring hareness already. it just corroded out and doesn't work anymore. sounds like a auto parts store might have something I just wondered if they sold one that would fit into the light casing like the original.
