Hi all,
I sniffed freon nowhere but the center ducts with a Snap on tester.

8 hours and it cycles and loses cold .

I ordered an evaporator out of Bright.com in Texas for$136 + shipping.

What is your opinion? Where do I start? Top dash or bottom?

123k and Can I skip the accumulator ?

Was ICE cold 2 days ago.

are you sure....when mine quits I disconnect the battery's and reconnect them, works like a charm again

Hi all,
I put in a can of 134A and it was great with my Gage set for 8 hours and then it went to short cycles on and off with the compressor.
The next morning I sniff tested and found nothing until I started the engine and retested w/air on. Only place I set off the sniffer was the center outlets.

I have been trained in snap-on seminars and 20 years lite a/c service. I have done everything at least once. Since '68 or so. I do not like heater core and dashboard work at all!!

I have retired/ time to do it. My body at 62 years of abuse rebels!
Too may falls and broken bones. Motorcycles since age 13.
Any experience on the sierra 2500hd extended cab dash would help shorten the pain.
