Who makes a rim that in chromed aluminum? I am sick of polished as they are to hard to keep up even when u get carpel tunnel in ur elbows cleaning them every weekend. Was wanting some Helo Maxx 8's if they are any good. Also sticking with 16" since I just bought my new Dueller AT Revos. Plus I haul lot. Would any of ya recommend chrome for all year round in Ohio where if it even calls for snow and isnt they still dump the whole salt supply down?:p::p:

Just a thought, but have you considered taking your existing polished wheels into a wheel shop and have them clear coated. That would alleviate your clean and polish every week problem, plus the fact if the wheel shop knows what they are doing you would essentially have a set of wash and wear wheels. Clear coated wheels aren't quite as shiny as polished but they are much more maintenance friendly and with the salt problem you have there it would sure make keeping them clean a lot easier. I have AR ATX Teflons on my truck and we use a lot of salt up here in the winter as well. I can leave the wheels dirty for a couple of weeks with no problem. A quick shot of soap and water and they are as good as new.

I would but mine need polished and sanded now...took it too a detail place (in gehto) on the way to somewhere Saturday and the tard cleaned them with a wire brush so now they are cleaner but have scratches all over them. Didnt say anything cause they look cleaner and if I would have thought of that I prolly would have done it too. They were pretty bad. I dont see spending alot of money of these cheap ass ION wheels. But would like them shiny again without paying $150 /wheel to get them polished out again.
