Does the ally have an a thurst for trans fluid. Checked my fluid hot today & it's right at the crosshatching(low side) I've had a couple of issues with hard downshilts & slipping between upshifts lately. Could this level being at the low end of the crosshatching at the hot level be the cause?? This trans only has about 6k on it from a total rebuild. I also have a hypertech set at 3 installed on it (but i do not abuse it...normal driving & no towing) How much trans fluid does a ally loose in normal driving(no it's not leaking either...at least i dont't see any fluid on the ground) thanks

It dosnt use any. Although if you havent checked it since your recent rebuild sometimes a trans will take a bit for level to stabalize. Add fluid, make sure its not leaking anywear. and continue to drive and keep an eye on it.

Well i added not quite a qt. of fluid & the sysptoms did not go away. As a matter of fact ... it's reving between shifts, downshifting hard & delyed Hard shifting into rev. All the time now! But the check enging light has not come on. Any ideas???
