I have an '03 with 62,000 miles, Just put the Edge\Attitude in 2 weeks ago. I ran week one on Level 1, 2nd on 2 and now I'm on 3 since Sunday. I have had no problems until yesterday. I left work here and did about 5 miles x-way driving at 75. Everything is good. Got off and went 3 more miles in the city. Parked the truck and let it idle for 10 min. Got back on the road for 10 more miles of city driving. Everything is cool. Once back on the X-way got up to about 70 and the truck started to sputter. I put the hammer down and it didn't go anywhere, just started puking a bit. I took it down to stock, trying each level on the way down. Once at stock it smoothed out. Put her back up to 3.... Sputter. Got off the x-way and came to a stop, them hammered it. Not hesitation at all.... Took right off until I got to 70 and the red light stopped me. Now, when I stopped and let the truck idle, I was at a Truck accessory place. I popped the hood and showed him the Juice. I possibly could have jarred something loose in the connections, but why would it have run good at stock? When I got to my destination, I checked all connections and made sure they were tight. After leaving, I got the truck to temp and got on the X-way. Everything ran great. This morning on the way to work, all was good.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

As I said, the truck has 62,000 miles, Edge and a K&N. I change my filter every 15,000 and get fuel from the same station, when I can. The Sunday before I did get it at a fuel stop down south of me, but I had 200 miles on that tank when it happened.

Any Ideas, or is this just one of those “Juice Quirks” that happens every so often?

How many miles on this fuel filter? I'd change it at 10K rather than 15K

This one is at about 10K, but I have never had any issues with water or dirty fuel with any of the ones I have changed. The're has never been rust or water in them.

Change it and see if it fixes the problem

What I'm saying is, the problem is fixed. It only did it that one time and that was it. And when it did do it, taking it down to stock cured it as well. After the stop, check all connections and leaving (after my work was done), everythinh was back to normal, even on level 3.

Were your wipers on?

No, they weren't. The outside temp was around 32-37°. I have put about 175 more miles on since this happened and everything is running great. I havn't been back on the X-way, but along country roads I can get up to 65 and she runs smooth. Put her in the kitchen and she really takes off. Like I said, it was only that one time......

I'd second the change of the fuel filter. It is relatively easy, inexpensive and almost due anyway. Remember that when you go to a higher level on the Edge you are incresing the demand for fuel. If the filter has a restriction it may not show up at stock fueling rates. Also I would try to plug and unplug the harness the fewest number of times possible to help from possibly causing incidental connector damage. So fuel filter first, then look at the Edge. You may also want to do a search on "juice problems" as there have been many complaints, however Edge's customer service is highly regarded. Good luck!

I have only pluged the thing in at install, never again. What I did do was grapb the lagre black wire for the connectors to show the guy where it was. That was it. I will stop by my moms' dealer tonite and grab a new filter and throw it on for S and G's anyway. Thanks
