Hi Everyone:

This is my first attempt at this forum thing. Today on my way to work, I pulled away from a stop sign, got the truck rolling then put my foot into it. about 3 seconds later I heard a POP, and the sound of the boost bleeding off very quickly. Saw lots of white smoke out of the tailpipe. I stoped and used Onstar to get a tow truck ( That Onstar Is Awsome, they knew exactly were to send the tow truck ) Has anyone ever experienced something like this, and what were the results.

Thanks in advance for your input.

P.S. the truck is an '04 2500HD LLY/Ally

First :welcome:

If one of the turbo hose's or pipes broke like it states in your title then I would say that's a good possibility for the white smoke.

Another good possibility for a lot of sudden white smoke out of the tailpipe is a blown turbo. That will put a lot of smoke into the air.

But since it's still a new truck let the dealer figure it out and fix it.

Good Luck.
