Thanks

Per Helms 2002, P0106 sets when "The difference between the BARO sensor and the boost sensor is more than 20kPa for two seconds". Here's a couple of guesses.
Got gauze type air filter, such as K&N?
I see "Actuator" below your name. Is this a Banks Big Head? What boost pressure are you running?

Actually its on my buddy's truck, not mine. i already looked it up in the help manual. unfortunately troubleshooting requires that i read the baro value, which my preadtor can't do http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif
He has stock truck. he runs an amsoil air filter.. i already thought he might have over-oiled it but we haven't had time to check.
I do have a banks actuator, yes. i have it set to about 28 PSI max..

Nick, start by cleaning the MAF, I know that isnt what the code is, but i have seen it before...

CRC 'lectra clean works good, leaves no film. I was looking through my notes and I did have a couple of these early on that I replaced the boost sensor on and it took care of it.
