I bought my Dads lly about 1 year ago and he wishes he never would have sold it. He is getting a best of about 14 driving with a VERY light foot and no idling. I am getting about 18-20 on my lly. Very nice truck though if you do not mind the mileage.

I have an 08 LMM and I'm now getting 13.5 around town, 9-10.5 towing and I was getting 15.5 on the highway with only 1000 miles on it and I haven't done a long trip since without towing on the highway to see if it has increased any. It does however seem to get a little bit better with each tow, when I first bought the truck I was getting 11.8 around town. I'm now at 4500 miles.

It seems the more i tow the better the mpg gets. Started off at 13 mpg in town, towed pretty hard a few weeks ago and the last two tanks on the same in town roads (empty) is now 16.5 hand calc. I get between 10 - 12.5 towing a 33' 5er and the best on the hwy so far was 19.5 empty

well i got an 08 i get about 19-20 on the highway crusing at 75mph. I dont know how this is possible but thats what the computer says. A nice little illegal trick is to draft behind the 18 wheelers. ive gotten 22mpg, of course they go slower tho, about 65mph

Last saturday, on US97 going south from Bend, OR, I reset the DIC and drafted an F 350 who was pulling a big horse trailer. After 20 miles, my average mileage was a click over 30!!! When the Ford turned off, the mileage went down a bit. Just before I got to Roseburg (OR 138) my average was 24. After a short buzz around Roseburg, we drove home to Medford (I-5)and the DIC read 22 mpg. The same trip in reverse last Wednesday my average was 18.5. The thing about mileage is it all depends on how and when you measure it. If I just measured it from Bend to the 138 junction it was about 28. But for the whole round trip the average was just over 20mpg. Also, I rarely went over 65, traffic was light, and I drove like an old lady. I don't know for a fact if it regen'd or not, but I typically average a regen every 350 miles, and the trip was almost 600 miles total, so at some point it must have regen'd. BTW, truck is bone-stock.

I've found that the first 30 to 40 miles after resetting the DIC gives more 'optimistic' results. I've had some highway trips where I've reset after a fillup, hit the highway on cruise and have the DIC settle into the 20 to 22 MPG range. But, after an hour or so with no major changes in road conditions, speed and no regen, the MPG's will slowly drop down to around 18 to 19. I trust the DIC readings on a complete tank of fuel usage, but not for shorter resets in-between.

Our 07 Sierra LMM with 10K miles gets between 20 and 22 mpg solo at 65 mph.....10 to 12 towing a 13K lb 5th wheel....mileage is terrain, temp and wind dependent.
