Trying the install myself, here are my questions:
1. Connected the 12v power and ground but do not get gauge (Autometer COMP II) to light up, I know there is a thrid wire for the dimmer, but does this thrid electrical connection also provide power for the gauge light?
2. Where in the fire wall are you routing the wire for the EGT? Please be specific, pictures would help.
3. When tapping the exhaust manifold I understadn it is on the passenger side, correct? Where do you route the wire from the firewall to the manifold?
4. When tapping manifold what is the typical hole size? DO I need to tap the hole out or will the connector provided thread in ok once the hole is the right size?

Sounds like you need some help...
The 12v power wire is only to turn the gauge on, the third wire for lighting and that connects to the brown wire w/ white trace behind the dimmer switch and you supply that wire.

For the hole in the fire wall, look to the right and above the fuse center located behind the brake peddle, there is a 1 1/4" grommet there with one cable running through it, that is the easiest to get to and use.
You drill the passenger side manifold with a 5/16", 21/64" or "R" bit and tap it using an 1/8" NPT tap , route the wires back to the cowl and tie them up along the cowl

Thanks, in the first picture you say the following "and you supply that wire." what do you mean by I supply that wire?

Meaning, you supply the added length it will take to get from the pyro to the dimmer switch wire if the supplied(connected to the back of the gauge) wire is not long enough.

ok, it is long enough. The boost gauge is connected to a 12v source and is on when I turn on the ignition, does this mean the light on the boost will be on all the time? See http://www.dieselmanor.com/diy/DMX3-gauge/DMX-gen3gaugeinstall.htm picture 4 and 5.

I'm sure it goes without saying but make sure you don't get any filings inside the exhaust manifold when you drill it. Some guys do it with the engine running so it blows out, I don't care for that, I use something to hold most the filings on the bit and then go inside the hole with a small magnet and make sure it's clean.

With the boost gauge, you hook the positive wire to the same wire as the light wire on the pyrometer as long as it's mechanical. If it's electrical, you will have to hook the 12v power wire to the same one as the 12v pyro wire and the light wire to the dimmer switch wire. Then your lights will only be on when your headlights are on.
