I'll be upgrading from 245's to 265's on my 2003 2500HD. Has anyone had any experience with Nitto Terra Grabbers? My driving will be 99% highway, sometimes pulling a 12K fiver, but sometimes I get in the Georgia red muck hunting. Thanks.

I'm running 285/75/16 on the stock rims. They seem to be holding up pretty well, although they only have 6,000 miles on them. If you are running empty deflinatly run the rear tires at 35 psi. I ran all four at 55 psi and am unloaded 95% of the time and it definatly wore the centers of the rear tires. The fronts look great. Excellent traction in the snow. I don't think I will get much more than 30K out of them.

A couple of years ago I ran Nitto Terra Grapplers in the 285 size. Ok for the first 25% of wear, but then got progressively noiser and wore faster. Lasted about 11,000 miles. I wasn't very happy with them after the initial wear. I would not do them again.

Just installed a set of the 265's this weekend. Definately look more agressive than the factory bridgestones, but are not louder (yet) and didn't require much weight to balance. Sounds like they may only get 35K out of them, but that's okay, I didn't pay a whole lot either. Somebody on the TDR said they are made by Toyo, but not sure of this. Couldn't beat the price for a good looking load range E all terrain.

I am currently running the Nitto's. (265's load E) They are wearing good and very quiet. i have about 27,000 miles on them. Looks like I will easily get another 15,000. I will not run them again though. They only have a 2 ply sidewall and the truck floats all over the road. I've read other feedback here stating the same. If it had a 3 ply sidewall it would be a superb tire. Going back to BFG TA/ko. Got 60,000 out of my last one's.
