Okay I have a couple questions I can't figure out. Here is the senario: I have an 03 lb7 with a regular TST stacked with a regular PPE Xcelerator. Before when it was a little colder out (~30 degrees), and I had the TST waste gate line modifier thingy majig installed. My pickup would burst with the TST on level 3 & 3. Egt's were in 1700 range, and boost around 30-31psi.

Since I am at high elevation that much boost scared me, and I don't want a blown turbo. So I took of the TST line off and put the stock waste gate line on. It is a warmer day (~50 degrees) I ran the TST on level 6 & 9 and I had no bursting. The egt's were in the lower 1600's and the boost was only about 24psi. Plus it felt faster, and smoked like a coal train.

So why would it not burst with the TST on a higher level? Before I could never go much, if any, past level 3 & 3 with out bursting. Do the warmer temps. or the lower boost pressure have anything to do with it? Just to makes sure I was experienceing the bursting issues before, is it when in the top of 5th gear it acts like it is running out of fuel, and cuts in and out violently? Because if that what happens bursting occurs, then I was definately experiencing bursting.

I found mine to burst more with warmer temps.........or lower fuel levels that allowed the fuel temp to get higher........I had the high performance version of the tst and could never run it above 6/9 with out the bursting issue even with a lift pump......stacked I would imagine you are over extending the injector bandwidth and fuel rail pressure is dropping

That's what I would have thought as well, but it was exactly opposite. Do you still run that waste gate line modifier?
