im guessing my dmax is just broken in at 37,000 miles now. its due for an oil change too down to 27percent:eek: thinking one of these is the reason for smoke on start up.???
im at 600ft above sea level it never has smoked on startup before (no modules) is it normal at 37,000 miles

that sounds to me like raw fuel, idk bout injector issues for these engines, but could be a slightly leaky tip.

sounds like it could be an injector. try running a fuel additive in your next take of fuel. Diesel Kleen and Stanadyne are a couple of popular choices.
