Talked To A Cooper Tire Dealer This Morning About There Stt

Tire. He Said I Would Not Get 10,000 Miles On Them Before They

Would Need Replacing !!

Has Anyone Had That Kind Of Luck With The Cooper Stt Tire ???

10k miles??? Maybe if all you do is burn out... My tire guy has them on a tacoma and has 80k on them. He said a heavy diesel would probably do 50k easy. 10k seems AWFULLY low.

I got 30,000 out of mine. And how i ran those tires i was impressed. I will probably go with cooper from now on. I have the atr's now, and they are doing well.

I'm running them now and have 34000 on them. I'll easily get another 10000, and I've only rotated them twice.

That guy doesn't know what he's talking about. I got 55k out of my last set and I could have treated them better.

I have had the Cooper ST's on 2 duramax's

2 sets of 315's on 2002 traded in at 97000 with lots of tread left. at least 50k on each set

on my 2nd set now on my 2007 , 1st set got me to 50k with no problem, probably further if I rotated them better.

STT's may be a little different, but definitely better than 10k

i had a set of 35's STTs and they got me to 50k and i think i could of got another 5 or so on them then i went with the 37's and i got another 50k out of them and could of kept going but i am not sure why but i had one just split the side wall when i was backing down my drive way i am glad it happen there but i would of got another set if they hadn't shot up in price and the BFGs were so much cheaper but now i regret not going back with them because my BFGs suck. oh and the pic in my aviator is the set of 37's

Running cooper ATR's on my truck and have been very happy with them as well.

How do the STT's compare for road noise and ride comfort?

i would compare the noise to BFGs A/T i think my BFG muds are much louder then the coopers ever were

Don't get the S/t. Had them on my stepdads truck and they wore out after about 20k

My ATR's are quieter than my STT's were. And the STT's weren't loud at all to me. I couldn't tell a difference in ride quality.
