alright im selling my car and i was thinking about buying a 10 or 11 second drag \ street car. but instead i figure well why not just do up my daily driver to run 12's and ill be happy. even high 12's would be good.

start to finish, what do i need and how much is it going to cost? i know the basics, but nothing concrete. like obviously tranny upgrade. but just a torque converter? or what else? same with turbo, i heard stock turbo is good to 500 rwhp? truth in this, or is it worth while to upgrade?

a local tuner, ( a good one at that ) is an efi live dealer \ tuner, so he knows his shit, so i would be running efi live instead of the ppe tuner.

sc4 trans, tie rod sleeves, lift pump, good tuning and you would be close.

SC4 trans $3000-$4000, EFI Live around$800, tierod sleeves not sure, Lift pumps not sure.

my mods will get you there.... and then some

Sleeves and braces, tranny work, with the 6-speed you can do it with as little as a suncoast three or TTS transgo kit and a percison TC. With EFI live and a tuner like Idaho Rob you can make the 12's with a stock turbo. Lift pump, lots to choose from there. You don't need an EGR blocker, can do that with EFI live, but they are cheap so why not. Also spring clamps for when you race. lower t-bars all the way and passanger side back up a couple of turns. Stock tires or 265's, race in 4x4 build boost to about 2000-2100 rpm and let her rip. Take off excess weight too, spare tire, extra battery, tow hitch and back seat if you really want to do the work, hell I use to try and take a big dump first when I was trying to get my 02 into the 11's.:D
