Anyone tried this? i loaded it like 30 mins ago and it seems pretty stong....stronger than the mcrat tune IMO. it does have a lot of timing rattle with isnt good in my eye, but it does have manageable EGT's with my water meth. He sold his efilive and im wondering if this tune helped him sell it..:(

If its the smoke tune one that he built, its a decently good runner, had some major defueled shifs and SMMMMOKEY with some lower boost #'s....other than that it really wasnt that bad of a tune! :D

i read about it over on mcrats site or efilive forums. i just want someone who ran this to tell me if its going to crack my piston cuz of all the timing haha

im going to tonight. it seems like all the timing rattle is abover 2500rpm

ran the race tune..well it is true that it is faster than mcrats....13.84 in my case.. tons of timing rattle. sounded like dockboys ford before it threw a rod...back to ppe i go.

Something else might be wrong...There's been a few LBZs in the 12's with the McRat starter race tune...Have you had a chance to do any logging?

13.84 isn't faster than McRat's race, that's slower than a lot of people's tunes - including the Neen's. What kind of timing is it running? Do you have a race valve or shim kit? If you are popping the relief valve open or have a race valve or shim kit and didn't tighten the valve tight enough I could see you running that slow, but an LBz should easily be faster. Hell an Edge will get an LBZ close to that.

Don't give up so easily. PPE does run good and is hard to beat as a canned tune but do some logging or get ahold of a vendor and get a tune from them. I run a tune from IdahoRob and I haven't been to the track with it yet but I can tell you to me feels stronger than PPE with better egts, no timing rattle(which ppe didn't), and dosen't fall off on the big end. When I get to the track I'll know for sure but the seat of the pants feel is what I'm going by. Like others though I won't share Robs tune since he made it for me only so out of respect I won't share it. I'm sure thats understandable and just sharing my experience with his tune.

Guys I think I have found the issue. Seems the Wendy tune does not like to be scripted. He got the tune though Blksmoke ? My guess is that it shifted like crap.

kat, it shifted fine in t/h, but soon as it went into normal mode, yes shifted bad. im sure it was written into the tune, but no totally sure. Yes i did get the tune through dave (blksmok) to try it, since i am looking into purchasing efi from pat.

I have just become aware of the scripting issue yesterday, but since Pat never scripts tunes we where not aware that it was a issue until I got a phone call from another customer yesterday. He was having the same issue when using a scripted tune vs a non scripted tune.
