Yea, u will save from hauling the extra $100 around, less weight more tranny life

Eric and other have said it's cheaper and better for your truck just to burn the money.

You just need to save your money and do it right the first time and then you will not have to worry about it for a long time to come. Just plan on spending some serious money for that trans... It will be worth it in the long run.

Thats the plan now. I was just wondering if it would help out temporarily. I've ordered the Edge Juice/Attitude combo. I'll be adding an exhaust soon.

Then I'll sit back and save for the tranny. Then who knows :)

Thanks to all of the non smart @$$ comments

You will find that you will get all kinds of answers here. Some you might like and others you might not. You have to take what you need and leave the rest. We are like a big family here and we will have our difference of opinions at time, which is to say most of the time... Good luck..

Not trying to be a ****, sorry if it came off that way, but a quick search will yield lots of comments on it.

Well even doing a search it seems the most information you get is "do a search" or don't waste the money.

I didn't ask if it was worth the money. I asked if it would buy me some time. I'm sorry if it pissed anyone off by asking.

But the more people comment on it the longer this thread will hover at the top of the forum. So this is my last one on it.

Once again sorry if I made anyone mad by asking about it. I've only been reading the forum since Friday or Saturday.

cant comment for anybody else, but you didnt piss me off. To answer your original question.....

Yes, it will buy you some time, but it wont do what it claims, the percieved harder shifts will learn themselves out with the TCM adapt feature. Its just not a good way to spend your 100 bucks and a few hours.

I've got two friends that have them in their trucks now, one with the Powerpup 155hp and the other with the Powerpup 95hp. They both still limp the tranny just as easy as before the installation. In these two cases, they really did nothing at all.

By you saying "still limp"......I'd say the damage was already done.

I'll revise what I said. One person was limping the tranny on the 155hp setting. He THEN installed the shift enhancer, and it limped it just as easy. The other person was running the 155hp and DID NOT limp the tranny. He probably gave it about eight WOT runs. The truck was brand new. He then installed the shift enhancer so he wouldn't end up putting his tranny into limp mode. A couple of runs after it was installed, it started to limp. It didn't stop anything from happening even though the tranny in this particular truck was never put into limp mode. They both say it's not worth the time or money.

installed shift enhancer on my D/A hoping to stop tranny from going into limp mode in over drive, well it still will go there with the quad set a 135hp. seems to shift a little firmer though, don't know if it was worth it or not.
