GM is gonna have to do a recall, because you're not the only person this has been happening to....seems to be a veryyyyyy common problem on the DMax! :ro)

I noticed this too! This problem also is related to poor fuel mileage.
I plan to conduct more testing this week, along with a tire life
test.........

For some reason mine will not break traction at a stand still? I am however running 265/75/16's in 10 ply, is that the reason or is my juice not enough?

Are you power braking?

No, however a friend of mine can do it without power braking but, then again he is running the factory tires with out any add ones under the hood.

He can break the tires loose from a stand still without power braking? I'm not saying its impossible but I doubt it.
Usually it takes a brake-stand to get the turbo to produce boost.

I never could when I was stock or even with the power adders I have. I sure can lay rubber when it shifts into 2nd though.

I recommend taking it to the dealer. They can probably fix it so it won't do any of that stuff again.:badidea:
