When do they switch the fuel back to standard from the winter blend? I would like to get my mileage back. Thanks.

depending on the location and company, but it should start very soon

Usually somewhere between March and April.

Here in Ohio it's March. In the fall, it's October.

I agree with the wanting to switch back as well, hopefully the prices will fall a little bit too, right now around here it's averaging 2.13 a gallon.

:wtf1: $2.27 here. Last week was 2.19. It keeps going up. The dyed fuel is $1.80. VERY TEMPTING!!! :muahaha: but I know it is :badidea: .

Yep. BP says they do it from the first of November through March. Maybe slightly longer in Iowa, Tel9000. I'm so sick of this winter, I can't wait for spring to arrive. Better fuel mileage will just be icing on the cake.

I think here in NJ, its early April. We still are getting nights in the low 20's and some teens. Snow last Friday and now more snow coming Monday. It's been a long winter! Diesel prices are ranging from $1.90 to $2.15.

Doesn't everyone here use additives like Power Stroke anyway? I suppose for people that do type 2 diesel would be a better idea....
