If you blocked the egr on a stock truck would it hurt anything or throw codes.

you can block or disable it without problems, but you'll get a CEL. I don't currently know of a finger stick for the LB7

I was told by many people that the LB7's do not have an EGR, well, if you live in Cali they do, and they fail, trust me...

LB7 was not a 50 state engine like the LLY and newer engine.
right side up pipe turbo, egr, and intake, and i beleive the heads are different between the fed emission and cali emission LB7

X3, at least the Cali ones from 2002 model years and after. Choke...choke...choke. I think it went 50 state in 04 or 05.

Texas LB7 Here and have EGR, but no cat due to the replacement of the front pipe.

Fed emissions trucks, Fleet trucks, and just some inlucky ones have the crap...
