I have a 4.5 Cummins 2500 4x4 with a 6 speed. I recieved my Power Pup and put it on Extreme. I love the power and the smoke but my egts are getting way to high. I hit 1500 today. What can I do to get my egt's down. I have a afe air intake and thinking about ordering a torque tube. Any ideas would be great. Thank you all.

Aftermarket 4in. exhaust, get rid of your cat and a new turbo. If you want to run big power on a cummins the stock turbo ain't gonna cut it. Fortunately lots of options out there for ya.

I have a 4" exhaust on it now. the cat is still on but can be removed. What is the best kind of turbo to go with that I can still pull my cattle trailer with and not hurt anything else?

If you look at factory exhaust lying on the driveway beside your truck you will figure out that total exhaust upgrades is a big waste of money. Consider trashing the cat and factory muffler and replace with good high flow muffler. This will lower egts.

Cumminz......trust me when I say that an aftermarket 4in. is better than what the factory has to offer....looks can be deceiving. The raw numbers on the pyro will tell the story. As far as turbos go.....don't even know where to start...lots of good choices out there. If I were you I would contact enterprise engine....the have a pretty good website and are friendly people.

Just dump the muffler and cat, save the rest of your money for a turbo(s), its the biggest drawback for you right now.

B1-04, HTT killer 64 or sledpuller 66 are 3 nice single turbos for your truck. if you want to drop some $$$ for twins check out kendrick diesel, shied, haisley, or piers.
