What kind of mileage/wear is everyone getting out of a set of tires? I have the Bridgestone revo all-terrain load range e with 13000 miles on them with only 7/32 left. Seems to be wearing fast to me. :)

 Wow, I thought Bridgestones would do way better than that. I have a set of Durango's that were on the truck when I bought it from a used car dealer. He had just put them on and I have about 20000 miles on them and have about 1/4 inch left. I just priced Bridgestone Revo's and for what they cost, I was thinking they would get 50K or more.:( Someone on another thread said they got 100K, but I don't remember what brand.

pro cop M/T's here... well over 30k on them and over 50% tread left.. this on a CCLB that pulls cattle most every weekend. I've rotated them once in that time. Hoping for 80k before replacement.

The Michelin LTX M/S are notorious for lasting 70-80k + miles.

What tread life can one expect from BFG AT's?

I ran one set of BFG A/Ts and got about 21K out of them on my 2001 HD.

I currently have a set of Wild Country TXRs and have about 18K on them,if I get to 30K I'll be surprised.

Every brand I've ran on my HD wore well (no feathering, scalloped edges, etc.) they just haven't lasted long.

OK, I just replaced the 285 Revos, they were wore out at 35000 and bald at 38000, they have a 50000 mile warranty, but prorated out at only 26.00 per tire and that was only good for full retail, like 299.00 per tire, NO THANKS. got some new Toyo AT,s much better tire in the snow in Utah.

My tires have always lasted 50 thousand plus.....and could have gotten more out of them. I make sure that they get rotated every 5000 miles.

64000 on BFG TA/KO'S, no burnouts, no hammering down the brakes. expect to get another 15000 on them.

i have the revo's and am experiencing the same rapid wear. mine have about 12000 on them and are at about 9/32's. the dealer told me the compound in the tires varies and that the mileage should get a little better. yeah right! i am currently checking into the prorating of them.

Man, finding a 265/75/16 w/ E rating has been a hassel for me. Don't know what to go with. The BFG TA AT doesn't have the E rating, The Wrangler AT/S is way expensive and I was informed today they are gong to disconntinue that line so be warned about that! The Michelin M/S looks really more like a highway tire and even though it has the size & rating I want I just wonder how it will perform in mud? Anyone suggest a good AT tire that will last & carries the load rating I need?
Thanks

number 9, 70-80K sounds great.

How are the Michelin LTX M/S in mud and snow?

I've got 285 revo's with 17000 and they still look brand new. I rotate every 5000.

#1 for me Michelin LTX-AT
#2 (TIE) Michelin LTX-M/S or TOYO M-55
#3 Hankook Z36 (rides like total ship though)

we had michelin LTX A/t's on the 00' 1500 Z71 EC/LB for 77k miles and they were only 60% wore out but they were really roaring loud. so we put some LTS M/S's on it and have 68k on them and they have 50% tread left but are getting almost as loud as the A/T's. so my experience is i could get 100k out of them easily with tread left but they get too loud. and the M/S's do real good in the snow and not quite as good in mud. the A/T's are better in the mud and equally as good in the snow
