What is the going price for Transynd? I was quoted $183 for a 5 gallons. Anyone purchase any lately and how did your price compare?

That's about right. Mobil Delvac is also an Allison TES 295 approved synthetic fluid. Price is about the same as Transynd. For the Mobil, best price around here is at truck stops or large truck parts houses — about $33/gal (or it was a few months ago).

Thanks Enahs. I noticed you are from Spokane, I am just south of you down in Colfax. I called some place right off of Broadway that was on the Allison delaer locator site and that was the price they gave me on Transynd. Sounds like I will probably go pick some up.

In March, I paid $145 plus tax for 5 gallons. Dealer delivered it to my work for no shipping since he was in town to drop off a transmission to the Public Works Department.
