Well I've posted this before on other boards and taken every suggestion and the guage cluster still acts up every time I hit the direction lights or brakes kinda frusterating sent it to the electric shop they went over all the wires and grounds. few weeks later I replaced the alt., batteries and battery cables both + and both - cables replaced the studs that the ground were hooked to replaced the braided ground strap at the back of the engine, replaced the ignition switch, multifunction switch, glow plug controller, starter, checked all my bulbs and recently just gave up and took it to the dealer they hooked it up to the scanner and took it for a drive and the cluster wasn't matching the data that was being sent to it so they replaced the cluster and it's still acting up I can't think of what else it might be. I'm dropping it off next tuesday this thing is killing me $$. the glow plugs also don't cycle properly unless the engine is running
It's a 94 6.5 TD Vin code "F" truck with a 96 regular output engine.
