: Let's see your Van !
JD4440 07-13-2008, 11:22 PM If this is covered somewhere already before we instituted the van forum I apologize. I've seen some pretty nice ones out and we have a few at work too (gassers). I'd like to see some good pics of what you guys are rollin' in! Thanks in advance, Chris

I'd ave paid good money to see that in person; Does MBRP make a kit especially for the van ? ShopSpecialties that thing is about as extended as you can get isn't it ?
ShopSpecialties 07-15-2008, 01:16 AM The spare is inside to make life easier. Underneath is a pain in the ass to get out when I have a cooler with me. I only had to do it once but never again. Yes I have the longest one available 155" wb.
Savanamax 07-15-2008, 04:50 AM Here's mine. I love the van so much, I haven't had the heart to stock it with tools and crap that will make it dirty. Every morning, I load my tools in it, and every afternoon I take them out. It's only got 36k miles on it. Super clean.

It's a kit from a pick up that I made work.

lotsofmiles 07-25-2008, 08:03 AM didn't realize it when I brought my sail boat home from my sisters place, but... The emergency water removal van pulling a boat. Either thats a little funny or I need another cup of coffee this morning.

ShopSpecialties 08-07-2008, 08:27 PM You get many calls for heating in Florida ?
Big Windy 08-07-2008, 11:44 PM When it gets below 70:D
chillman1971 08-08-2008, 02:02 AM More like 72.
People have to have their pool heaters. :D
JD4440 08-08-2008, 08:07 AM Did most of you guys have to order your vans? I searched all the local dealers inventories and came up with nothing. They were all either 4.8 or 6.o powered.
Savanamax 08-09-2008, 08:38 AM I live in California, and had to fly to Florida to get one with the chrome appearance package and power windows at a decent price.
chillman1971 08-09-2008, 10:36 AM I had been looking for about 6 months before I found mine. All the dealerships were saying I had to order it and then they wanted sticker. I went to look at a G6 and saw it setting off to the side. Needless to say we don't have a G6, and I was able to get it for 6k less than sticker out the door.:)
ShopSpecialties 08-09-2008, 12:13 PM Dad ordered his and I got lucky and found mine in Illinois.
DWitcher 08-09-2008, 03:07 PM Here my 98 Chevy Express 2500 5.7. I bought it 2 weeks ago with 117K on the clock. Future plans are 4wd conversion, possible engine swap and a mild camper conversion.

DWitcher 08-13-2008, 09:15 AM I kinda figured that. Just did'nt know what the PYO initals were.
chevypowa670 08-16-2008, 02:39 PM great vans from every one! i have to say these duramax vans are awsome!
impalapower 08-18-2008, 04:28 PM Did most of you guys have to order your vans? I searched all the local dealers inventories and came up with nothing. They were all either 4.8 or 6.o powered.
There were more dmax and 4.8's available than 6.0's. I purchased mine on the lot, it had most everything I was looking for. I got the 6.0 because the 4.8's milage was just as poor as the 6.0, and I didn't need a dmax.
lotsofmiles 08-28-2008, 12:40 PM My dealer had a 3/4 ton dmax van in stock when I bought mine. But I wanted 1ton dmax, no windows, standard wheelbase,a/c, pwr wdw locks, cruise. They traded from a dealership in Detroit.
