PPE "doesn't have the demand they need to make a new hot+2 tune for the 08 LYE" (dont ask me why when i have cash in hand ready to buy) so i have given up on them!:mad:

so, i need to wake up my truck really bad. any help or thoughts on a tune and removing the DPF will go a long ways!

A couple of weeks back someone asked would EFILive work on an LYE, but I think that was for an 07. In that instance the owner PM'ed me his VIN and I checked - it ran on a standard LMM operating system, which we supported.

We added a new 08 Motorhome OS last weekend, I'd be guessing that this is what you're after. Shoot me your VIN and I'll confirm for you.

GM haven't updated the Operating system on Cal ID as yet. I can confirm that we WILL support your truck, what I can't tell you is if we ALREADY support your OS, or if we will have to add support for it.

so what does that mean? you support it, but not sure if you support the OS? what do i need to do? what program will work on the truck if any? and who do i buy this from?

I'm about 90% sure that we already support your vehicle. GM added a second OS for the LYE about 3 weeks ago. I'm 100% sure that if I'm wrong, we can add support within 2-3 days of receiving the file out of your truck.

Supporting the 08 LYE is a piece of cake for us - so far there are 2 OS's that have been released, and we support both of them.

However, that is history, I don't know what GM have put in your truck until they update their system, or you try and read out your file - it is possible that they may update the OS again, if they do we need to re-map our software to add support.
