GMC front clip 1/2 ton to 3/4 will it fit?? 03 sierra 1/2 to 01 sierra 3/4 HD:)

i would think, aside from the bumber brackets being different. just as long as they are both gmc's

Keep in mind that the HD trucks had a taller frame than the half-tons, a 2" difference if I remember correctly. Most who have done a swap to the HD truck's front end usually end up lowering the bumper mounting brackets about 1.5"-1.75" to accommodate the difference and make the bumper cap fit better with the grill (there is a sizable gap on the HD's stock). The fenders, hood, headlights, and signal lamps are all interchangeable those years (again, if I remember correctly), so all you would need to do the conversion is the grill, bumper, bumper brackets, and upper cap. I've really only seen it done on Chevys, so I'm taking a guess at how different the GMC's are between those two years. Best of luck.

i know you can do it, i just dont know how.... Duratys put a denali front end on his truck. and there is another red GMC on here that moved his bumper up to meet his grille too.
