My dads truck has been throwing some EGR codes lately and not sure why. Truck runs fine, just did a trip down to lake of the ozarks with it pulling 16k pounds of boat and trailer. any ideas?? Thanks

I think there have been some issues with the EGR system on the LBZs, if that's what it is. Dealer can check/fix it if it's under warrantee.

In order to diagnose or even guess, it is really best to have the actual DTC number rather than "some EGR codes." Based on the mod line in your signature, I'd say it is a result of the exhaust system installed and/or the power module.

alright thanks. yeah i tried getting the numbers but he didnt remember them and had already cleared them. next time.
