i was thinking of buying the transgo shift kit but i was seeing what was the process of installing it. i was told that you have to remove the trans but what else is involved in the process. if some one that has done the install them selfs let me know. thanks

Click on my PICS link then look under Suncoast III...........

The transgo kit requires going into the C1/C2 Rotating assembly, the valve body and the Main Line pressure spring in the pump is changed as well.......if you get the booster valve extra..........

The only thing the Suncoast III kit adds is the Triple Disk TC and the clutches.......

You have to take the tranny out and tear down part of it...........

It is heavy............you will need a lift if not...it is no fun..........

I had my tranny R&R'd, but did the rebuild myself..........

Good Luck

yea i was debating whether or not it was worth it or not to put it in on the stock trans or wait till i had a problem with the trans. i have 22,000 miles on the truck and i have been going between the 65 and 85 hp tunes on th preadtor. from what it looks like it might be better just to wait till it blows and go all out.
