Yesterday on the way home I got on it slightly and the truck fell on it's face and then took off. I noticed that it poured out a ton of black smoke which it has never done before. I changed the fuel filter- read "Changing Fuel Filter - Problem" thread:(. I'm running a PPE set on level two 90hp. I cleared the code, drove it and had no issues. This morning driving normal - no where near getting on it, the check engine light came back on. I left the PPE at home so I can't pull the code but assume it's the same. I see other threads about P0108 but no real findings of what caused or corrected the code. Any ideas?

Might want to give PPE a call...iirc, i remember someone saying a more updated version has a few changes, dont quote me...
i know that if your voltage is over 4.14 for over 2 seconds it will trip the CEL...

Yeah, my PPE gave me what the code was but I have no clue what the fix is. I'm planning on turning it back to stock and see if it does it again.

I checked the code and this time it was 003a. I cleared it and it started throwing the p0108 code again. I took it to the dealer and the turbo vain sensor was bad. Just a note: I didn't think to much about driving it since I was pretty sure it was "just a sensor". The dealer said they would have to order the part 3-5 days so I asked about just coming back and getting it until the part came in. They said it would not be good to drive it with the sensor being bad so just an fyi... They offered up a rental but I was going out of town anyway so I didn't need it.

I had the same thing happen today but I'm not running any programmer yet.
