Just installed the Astrostart 2205. Took about 3 hours total, had some problems that I had created by inadvertantly unplugging 2 connections, or it would have taken about 2 hours. I took my time taking the dash apart, 2 panels + the A pillar. Carefully stripped the wires one at a time & soldered all connections & taped them up individually. Max Power was at my call whenever I had a question right there & right then, Thanks Tony!!! I have installed alarms before, but even if I didn't, this was fairly straight forward, although Tony had to chine in on eliminating a few wires that the manual did not list. All in all high tech product, great customer service, terrific conveinience of starting the Duramax from the house, while keeping the doors locked, also scaring people parked next to you in a parking lot , as well as increasing your range to 2000'. Cost was about $300 US, paid in Canadian $370

Agreed. I put mine in about 2 weeks ago with Tony's help and it worked great. I also installed one in my wifes suburban and Tony was able to verify wires for me on that one as well. Since they are both 2205s and have 2 channels I can unlock and start hers with my remote and she can operate both vehicles with her remote. Very cool.

Tony is the man when it comes to these remotes.
