yeah it just blew off. couldnt believe it we even did the same box and programer on his 02 and nothing happened. And no we are not dumb a@$%s and didnt tighten the clamps it just blew off. my cousin cracked into the throttle and it gave a heck of a whistling noise lots of smoke :) and no power. We went back tighten the clamp more than what it was stock and fixed the problem.

I've seen them blow off before. They even do it on stock trucks sometimes, ask the Ford boys. ;)

Had it happen to me last weekend. Loaded toybox 10k plus. Bone stock 04.5 lly ,6700mi ,285BFG's, going up cajon (6%) pass bout 60. I think I was in 4th gear. Droped to about 55mph went to 3rd gear at about 3200rpm and heard the loud pop! Luckly it was the top hose on the driver side at the top. Stuffed it back in tighten the clamp and on my way... a little easier this time. Maybe lose from the factory? Anybody know the tighten specs for the spring hose clamps?? Thanks Mark
