It also seems like the LLY will limp the tranny easier with the same amount of power than an LB7. Why is that? McRat 02-24-2005, 09:07 PM Two vehicles with the same weight, aero, tires, gearing with the same HP/TQ curve will accelerate the same. I believe that the "bolt-on" LLY will outrun the "bolt-on" LB7 in the near future. Give it 12 months max. It seems the LLY can produce more boost all across the powerband than the LB7, and once more fueling options become available, it will be the hot-rod version of the Dmax.
