DuneRebel 12-02-2003, 06:54 AM I just bought a new 04 2500hd and absolutley love it, this is the first diesel I've owned and would like to keep it that way, I know on a gas vehicle a kill switch can be used to kill the ignition system, but on a diesel I'm not sure how one would go about installing a kill switch, any help or advice would be appriciated. Think about the poor truck thief carnking the engine praying it starts as I come running out with my M-16 set to rock n roll. OR He sits there in silence trying to figure out why it wont turn over. QUOTE] Pretty sure the fuel pump (ie injector pump on a dmax) is driven off the motor on a dmax, NOT electrically so you can not switch it, you could switch the injector ECU, but i would not touch that unit.
