I just bought a new 04 2500hd and absolutley love it, this is the first diesel I've owned and would like to keep it that way, I know on a gas vehicle a kill switch can be used to kill the ignition system, but on a diesel I'm not sure how one would go about installing a kill switch, any help or advice would be appriciated.

Thanx, D. Rebel

If the ECM does not tell the Bosch Fuel pump ro run then no start.

I like the starter kill better, then it won't even turn over.

The fuel pump kill is a way better Idea. Think about the poor truck thief carnking the engine praying it starts as I come running out with my M-16 set to rock n roll.

OR

He sits there in silence trying to figure out why it wont turn over. Then gets pissed and takes a knife to your seats and dash and paint. Then he walks away.

1 way you hear him one way you dont.

Depends, which cost more? Fixing the seats, dash and paint or the body work to repair the bullet spray and blood removal?

How/where would the fuel pump kill switch attach?

Pretty sure the fuel pump (ie injector pump on a dmax) is driven off the motor on a dmax, NOT electrically so you can not switch it, you could switch the injector ECU, but i would not touch that unit. If your worried just starter relay the thing
