I have a 2004 2500HD Crew with the snow plow prep package. Every time I put my plow on and drive down the street the temperature on the rear view mirror climbs to anywhere from 80 degrees to 120 degrees.

If I drive with the plow off its normal.

Anyone else have this problem?

That's the same thing that's been happening with guys using the winter fronts because the temp sensor is in the grille and gets blocked by the winter front. For that problem people have been relocating the temp sensor but with that big plow in front I dont know if there's anywhere you could put it that it won't be affected.

What is your engine temps at? Normal?
