will any newer chevy mirrors fit on the 88-98 ck's? maybe someone has tried in here

If somebody does not answer your question, I think I would just go down to the dealer and have them get one of each out and compare the two. Forgive me if you have all ready thought of this. Just trying to help ya know.:)

I dont think they will fit. If you look at our mirrors and how they are mounted and look at how the newer truck mirrors are mounted they too me dont look the same. In the size and shape of what mounts too the truck. I dont know about the screw holes. I guess if they lined up then you could fabricate everything else on your own. I would post asking for pics on one of the duramax sections.

I read some where that newer dodge towing mirrors will fit,I just dont remember when or where

i know for a fact that dodge mirrors have the same body line but differant holes......and man would i love to have them but 200 for both of them i cant afford that lol

Yeah I bought e-bay specials replacements for my 97,I should saved the money and bought dodge mirrors.

I'm considering putting the Dodge mirrors on. The ones for the '94-'03 body are the ones that work on ours.

The *****ing car wash took the glass part of my mirror off today. Any way to get JUST the glass part of the mirror for my 96?? Its only a glue-on part..

Shouold be able to find them at any autozone or similar place... go to the mirror sections in the isles, they are stick on replacement lenses (also great for cracked glass) just glue the new one over it.

Like 8 bux for one.
